The selection process used to obtain the unique and ultra fine Possum fibre for use in PERINO yarn has taken 14 years of experience to refine. It is time proven and there is no short cut to obtaining the very finest and most uniform fibre in length and colour available in New Zealand.
We only collect from 2 to 3 carefully selected regions
We only collect at certain times of the year as temperature governs quality
We only use 6 professionally trained collectors.
Only 7% of the fibre collected is suitable for Ultra Fine PERINO
We only use the finest microns of New Zealand Merino as it is cleaner, brighter and more resilient than other Merino fibre.
